Dr. Jackie is a highly trained and compassionate pediatric dentist who is passionate about creating positive, empowering dental experiences for children and their families. With a warm and friendly presence, she ensures every visit is comfortable and tailored to each child’s unique needs.

 

Dr. Jackie earned her Doctor of Dental Surgery degree from the University of Toronto, graduating Summa Cum Laude, before completing a General Practice Residency at Brookdale University Hospital in New York. She went on to complete her specialty training in Pediatric Dentistry at the University of Rochester’s Eastman Institute for Oral Health, where she gained extensive experience treating children of all ages, including those with special healthcare needs, under nitrous oxide, oral sedation, and general anesthesia. Holding a Bachelor of Science in Psychology, Dr. Jackie has specialized training in understanding child behavior and is highly skilled in behavior management techniques that help children feel safe, calm, and confident during their visits.

 

As a pediatric specialist, Dr. Jackie is committed to providing care that goes beyond clinical excellence. Her approach is rooted in kindness, patience, and flexibility, adapting her techniques and communication style to each child’s developmental stage, temperament, and comfort level. She values open communication with parents, ensuring families feel heard, supported, and informed every step of the way.

 

Dr. Jackie is passionate about community outreach and has volunteered extensively to promote oral health education in schools and provide care for children with special needs.

 

Outside of the office, she enjoys spending time with her family and friends, playing tennis, traveling, crocheting, and creating handmade beaded jewelry.
