Dr. Kashif Bhatti

“I enjoy having the opportunity to give children a positive dental experience.  It is rewarding to start seeing our patients from a young age and watch them grow with each appointment.“

Originally from the Pacific Northwest, Dr. Kashif Bhatti grew up in the Seattle area.  He received his undergraduate degree from the University of Washington and continued his education at the Temple University School of Dentistry, where he earned his Doctor of Medicine in Dentistry.  Following dental school, Dr. Bhatti returned to Seattle to complete a one-year General Practice Residency at the University of Washington School of Dentistry where he learned to manage medically complex adult patients and received additional training in oral surgery and treating children.  It was during the General Practice Residency that Dr. Bhatti became interested in pediatric dentistry.

Following his time in Washington State, Dr. Bhatti and his young family decided to leave “city life” after accepting a position as a staff dentist at the Chinle Comprehensive Health Care Facility, which is located on the Navajo Reservation in Northern Arizona.  Originally planning on staying in Chinle for only two years, they ended up staying there for five.  His experience in the Indian Health Service solidified his plans for pursuing pediatric dentistry.  Dr. Bhatti and his family loved exploring the Southwest and gained a deep appreciation for the culture and home of the Navajo people.  During his time in Chinle, Dr. Bhatti and his wife also participated in a mentor program for at-risk school-aged youth.  After his time in the Southwest, Dr. Bhatti moved to Anchorage, Alaska to complete a two-year pediatric dental residency training program at Alaska Native Medical Center, where he served as chief resident during his second year.

Dr. Bhatti is a Board Certified Pediatric Dentist, a member of the American Academy of Pediatric Dentistry and the American Dental Association.  Dr. Bhatti and his wife have two young children and are excited to be living closer to his brother and sister-in-law (Dr. Bhatti’s wife and his brother’s wife are sisters!).  Dr. Bhatti understands that every child is different, so it is important to him to be flexible and accommodating. To build a more meaningful relationship based on mutual trust, children and their families need to be treated with respect and care.  When not at work, Dr. Bhatti enjoys being outdoors, hiking, camping, and hanging out with his family.
